David G. Bostwick, M.D., MBA, is a clinical professor of pathology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and medical director of Bostwick Laboratories in Richmond.
E. David Crawford, M.D., is the associate director of the University of Colorado Comprehensive Cancer Center in Aurora. He is also professor of surgery and radiation oncology and head of urologic oncology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Aurora.
Celestia S. Higano, M.D., is an oncology specialist at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and is an associate professor of the department of medicine and the department of urology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
Mack Roach III, M.D., is a professor of radiation oncology and urology and director of clinical research in radiation oncology at the University of California at San Francisco.

For those who sign out general surgical path this is a comprehensive text to help with problamatic cases.

Good book, bad web version

The book is greatest in the field of pathology. Chapters were written by different prestigious writers but still can maintain a consistent style. Even the pictures are consistently good. Tables were well organized. Differential diagnosis were discussed.
It should be a 5 stars book.
But the web version by inkling is difficult (if not the most difficult) to use. It surpass amirsys.
The preset is three frames, the left one "table of content", middle "book content", the right side "Notes". I cannot find a way to remove the "notes" frame or the "table of content" frame so that i can make a good use of area of my screen. The font size are big and the legend of figures cannot be fully shown unless you click to enlarged the picture. I cannot (at least not in a intuitive way) to open the picture in the new tab/window. Suppose you are read the middle of a long chapter and click to zoom a picture, after you finish and click "back", it will go back to the beginning to the chapter. So you have the scroll down every time. It is extremely irritating. I contacted inkling, and the staff seems not understanding my problem.
You cannot print anything. Even copy and paste were restricted to a quota (every day or so).
Every right click is useless.
The search function has some flaw too. The search result is classified as "all", "reader", "enhanced". I used once typing "chromophobe", the "all" did not show result from text, but only showed results from legend of picture. I have to click "reader".
I am sure there are other problems.
I am a working pathologist. I use desktop all the time, seldom use the apps.

Another flawless product

This amazing book was acquired in perfect condition as soon as it could.Amazon's reliability at it's best.So far I haven't got even the least complaint.Bostwick urologic pathology is the best of it's kind,suitable not only for advanced pathologists but for the new one's too.There are plenty of tables,diagrams,tips and condensed knowledge in this book, making it easy for everyone to understand.Surely a must have.
